Grok Bot agent sign-in

A setup guide for people building agents on Grok Bot, using the same calls Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor would use. Pro is $5.99 a month or $55 a year. Not an official Grok Bot integration.

What this guide covers

This guide covers the CorroborateMe HTTPS and MCP calls. We don't cover where to click inside Grok Bot, and there is no official connector. If Grok Bot can send an HTTPS request, use the curl below. If it can attach an MCP server with a URL and an Authorization header, use the JSON below. If it can do neither, it can't use CorroborateMe yet.

Key and plan

You need a company API key and Pro. Pro is $5.99 a month or $55 a year. Mint the key in the console, or follow bootstrap in the docs. Put the key in the agent's secret store however that agent keeps secrets. The header is Authorization: Bearer aa_...

Ask the person to open loginUrl from the JSON (field name loginUrl). Then:

When status is completed, user_id and email identify the person. The same fields come back from the JavaScript poll in authentication for AI agents.

Call the tool create_login_link with an optional state string. Call get_login_status with session_id set to the sessionId you just received. Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor use this same MCP body when their host supports a remote URL and a bearer header. Cursor's checked-in example is .cursor/mcp.json.example (local URL).
